work description

Yoshimasa Kimura's sake bottle, a Kyoto ware and Kiyomizu ware artist.

Yoshimasa Kimura's works have a wide variety of glazes, but in fact he has studied glazes almost entirely on his own, which is why he has such a wide range and depth.

Among the variations of glaze, this work is a tokkuri made with lapis lazuli glaze, which has a lustrous blue color that looks like a jewel. The shape of the tokkuri is simple yet cute, like a drop of water, and the deep color of the smooth azure glaze creates a calm atmosphere. The capacity is about 2 go of Japanese sake.

This is an author's work that is highly appreciated not only by Japanese people, but also as a gift for overseas people due to the sake boom in recent years. There are many sake cups that use the glaze of the same artist, so please consider them together.

Why don't you enjoy a moment of relaxation with Tenmoku glaze sake cups, which are gaining popularity around the world?

* Depending on the work, the appearance of the glaze pattern may differ slightly from the photo. note that.
