Yoshimasa Kimura's works have a wide variety of glazes, but in fact he has studied glazes almost entirely on his own, which is why he has such a wide range and depth.
Among the variations of glaze, this work is a tokkuri made with lapis lazuli glaze, which has a lustrous blue color that looks like a jewel. The shape of the tokkuri is simple yet cute, like a drop of water, and the deep color of the smooth azure glaze creates a calm atmosphere. The capacity is about 2 go of Japanese sake.
